puppy Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I saw a tailwind trailer at the lime run this weekend. And while I am a ways away from getting to trailer towing, I liked the design, and was curious if anyone has one, and what you think of it? Here is there website, I am interested on anyone elses experience on quality, ease of towing, etc. http://tailwindtrailers.com/
Lone Eagle Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 That's a cool looking trailer - very aerodynamic. Wonder how much they are - couldn't find anything on the site that mentioned price (OK, I know - if you have to ask, can't afford it - LOL).

Gee Vic, just lookit all the nice space you could have paint artistically sprayed on to match your bike. Brian
Brake Pad Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I looked at that trailer, when I was buying, its 1 foot longer then the one I bought, but mine is also a foot taller. I think they wanted 5300.00 for it. i bought my Matrix Rover for 2200.00 loaded. www.matrixmfg.com now they sell a lower trailer, But I'm really happy with mine. My Bike & Trailer, is show cased, in the photo album
Motorcycle Mike Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Tailwinds and Bushtech were high on my list when I was looking for a trailer. Very nice, quality trailers indeed but, I just couldnt justify the cost. I found an Aluma trailer for 1/3 the cost. It pulls like a dream, has plenty of room and looks pretty good to. I have never needed it, but hear their coustomer service is top notch also. http://www.alumaklm.com/mct_towable_motorcycle_trailer.html Now, if I had plenty of disposible cash, I would probably be pulling a Tailwinds or Bushtech as they are known to be some of the best. Just my . Hope I helped some.
kj5ix Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Tom Finch the maker of them does a fantastic job with design, and material, but they are real pricey. It is one of the "If have to ask, you cant afford it" scenarios. They are $7200.00 + with all of the options now,,, Great trailer though.

MM, Aluma is what I have and YES it pulls like a dream..$1499.00 at this place, they are the folks that supplied our giveaway trailer at the Arkansas Rally last year. http://www.thomasamerican.com/trailers.asp
casabroker Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 You gotta be nuts to pay that much for a trailer. Took my craigslist HF trailer and Coleman car topper modified by me at a total cost of $150 on its maiden voyage this weekend. Camped in comfort cruised at 70+ mph no wobble. If you want to look color coordinated spend the 7k
skzoid Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Here's a couple of pictures of my trailer. I can pack enough stuff in it for my little girl and I to camp for a couple of days. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j54/Danlapan/MCLPpics001.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j54/Danlapan/Venturers/ToBeLabeled219.jpg
