eazyduzzit Posted April 25, 2010 #1 Posted April 25, 2010 I would like to listen to radio on my RSTD. I bought an IMC intercom which has a radio connection. I ran the wire under the fuel tank to my handlebars, so I could mount my iphone and use it for internet radio. It works, but only sitting still. It has so much engine noise in it that you cannot hear the radio. I'm interested in what others do.
buddy Posted April 25, 2010 #2 Posted April 25, 2010 Engine noise or wind noise? Sounds like your intercom is picking up all the noise and over riding your music? If so turn down or turn off your intercom part , or cover your mic with a small balloon, I had to use a small balloon on my mic to drown out all the road noise on my intercom system when I had it in use..
eazyduzzit Posted April 25, 2010 Author #3 Posted April 25, 2010 I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. It is definitely engine noise. It even does it when sitting still revving up the engine.
mrich12000 Posted April 25, 2010 #4 Posted April 25, 2010 Head over to an car audio store, there you can obtain a Capacitor to cancel out the noise in the audio system.
