I couldn't really find a good place to mount the camera (no camera mount)...and ended up velcro-ing the camera to my GPS...thus the face pic. buddy Posted April 24, 2010 #4 Posted April 24, 2010 My 06 RSTD sounds like the transmission is going out . But once I remove the Fairing its not so bad, The fairing plays a key part as for how loud the whine gets too. Going to switch oil and see if this helps. First oil change I went with Rotella T and it seems the whine is a bit louder now? will try another brand later on and see if this helps some. By the way mine sounds like yours too, but mine may just be a bit louder .

I used to be a professional photographer and have always enjoyed photographing Native Americans. I have been to Chinle and photographed the Navajo and even some Code Talkers... My greatest respects.
