Cougar Posted April 24, 2010 Author #26 Posted April 24, 2010 Personally, I use both front and rear Kuryakyn long horns. But you can use just about anything you want to. just make sure you get the right clamp size for a 1 inch round . I am sure that your welder will have a computor at his or her shop then log in there and show them the above picture's they will get the idea ! Annie, so were the above post is what you are looking for and do you think your leg would be OK with that set-up?
SilvrT Posted April 24, 2010 #27 Posted April 24, 2010 Thank you so much Jeff. Where did you purchase the pegs from?? What's the best way for me to save the two posts with pics? I ain't too savvy with this 'puter stuff:think: On the top right corner of the post, there is a Post # ... 22 for one of them. Click the number and it opens just that post. You can then save that to your Favorites. Also, if you Right-click on a pic, you get a menu where you can choose to "Save picture as...". This will allow you to save the pics to a folder on your computer.
Aussie Annie Posted April 24, 2010 #28 Posted April 24, 2010 Annie, so were the above post is what you are looking for and do you think your leg would be OK with that set-up? Yes Jeff, this is what I'm looking for I don't want a narrow peg, and the ones you have used look spot on. This mod may not happen for a while 'cause we have to save the $$$..but to have something to show the engineer we are hoping will make it - is fantastic. He has a small shop locally AL found him awhile back. The reason we want to set up the bike for me to pillion as well as ride is that we still are planning the big U.S. trip one day and we would ship my bike for both of us to ride, so need to be able to sit in both seat. You have no idea how this mod has lifted my spirits **SilverT........thanks for the help.
Cougar Posted April 24, 2010 Author #29 Posted April 24, 2010 Aww----- shucks Annie. *blushing* :fatsmiley:I hope to meet you when you come to the U.S. and your welcome! BTW, the Mod cost was only $70 in material and labor----chrome another $40 and the pegs , well that cost more then the Mod *LOL*
