I seem to remember that Condor said that he had put MK1 pegs on a Mk2 machine because they were adjustable and more comfortable.

I have a 89 VR and at 5ft 8in I have the dreaded short legs disease. Would the boards with the heal toe shifter give me more room than my pegs do when I try----- to put both feet down at the same time? I think I could get used to not having my pant leg get caught on the peg when I'm walking her backwards out of the garage!

I have been told that the boards make it tougher to reach the ground as you have to place your feet farther out from the bike than you do with the pegs. But everyone seems to like different stuff.
