Squidley Posted April 23, 2010 #2 Posted April 23, 2010 Just wanted to specify this is from an '86 so the first gen folks would know. I also switched the forum to help folks find it
bongobobny Posted April 24, 2010 #3 Posted April 24, 2010 Shame, I only have MK1 peg setup available...
friesman Posted April 24, 2010 #4 Posted April 24, 2010 I seem to remember that Condor said that he had put MK1 pegs on a Mk2 machine because they were adjustable and more comfortable. Brian
Pappa Bear Posted April 24, 2010 #5 Posted April 24, 2010 I have a 89 VR and at 5ft 8in I have the dreaded short legs disease. Would the boards with the heal toe shifter give me more room than my pegs do when I try----- to put both feet down at the same time? I think I could get used to not having my pant leg get caught on the peg when I'm walking her backwards out of the garage!
friesman Posted April 24, 2010 #6 Posted April 24, 2010 I have been told that the boards make it tougher to reach the ground as you have to place your feet farther out from the bike than you do with the pegs. But everyone seems to like different stuff. brian
Yammer Dan Posted April 24, 2010 #7 Posted April 24, 2010 I think I have a set tucked away somewhere. You have forward brake also?
Poledar Posted April 24, 2010 #8 Posted April 24, 2010 I have a set of pegs for an '86 VR, but the rubber is less than perfect. Yours for the shipping and packing costs. POLEDAR:080402gudl_prv:
