Mooseduncan Posted April 21, 2010 #1 Posted April 21, 2010 At work here I have a whole slew of pics from my trip 2 years ago that I'd love to share, but I can't figure out how to transfer pics here from anywhere else but Photobucket and it would take forever to transfer the pics from where they are to photobucket then here. Is there an easier way?
kbran Posted April 21, 2010 #2 Posted April 21, 2010 At work here I have a whole slew of pics from my trip 2 years ago that I'd love to share, but I can't figure out how to transfer pics here from anywhere else but Photobucket and it would take forever to transfer the pics from where they are to photobucket then here. Is there an easier way? Go to the photobucket page you want us to see and copy the link at the top, then paste it in a message here. http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m232/kebranton/maintday%2010/ It would look like this and all we have to do is clik on it.
massey130 Posted April 21, 2010 #3 Posted April 21, 2010 it depends on where your pictures are stored. i have an SD disk in my camera. i pull the chip out and put it in my chip reader of my laptop and move them to a USB flash drive if i am gonna go about with them (like to work). then i tell this site to look at either my SD card on the laptop or the usb flash drive.
massey130 Posted April 21, 2010 #4 Posted April 21, 2010 If your camera hooks up to your computer, move the pics to the computer. then upload from there. you can email the pics to your work, save them to the work pc and then upload from there. many possibilities.
Mooseduncan Posted April 21, 2010 Author #5 Posted April 21, 2010 So I can upload pics directly from my pc (which is where they are) and I don't have to move them to photobucket first?
kbran Posted April 21, 2010 #6 Posted April 21, 2010 So I can upload pics directly from my pc (which is where they are) and I don't have to move them to photobucket first? Yes you can, just need to resize them to 640 x 480.
SilvrT Posted April 21, 2010 #7 Posted April 21, 2010 What about putting them here.... http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/
Mooseduncan Posted April 21, 2010 Author #8 Posted April 21, 2010 Okay so which button do I press to do that? The "insert image" button asks for a pic with an adress, like something from photobucket would have. You're not dealing with a very pc savvy guy here...
dingy Posted April 21, 2010 #9 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Look at my second post in the thread below. It details how to upload. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=44037&highlight=posting+picture After you run through the manage attachments screen and upload 10 pictures, you can go back and upload another ten, and another, to the same thread.
