Looking for ANOTHER lower cowling

Any advice on where I can come up with a lower right cowling. After hitting that gator the other day, I've been riding with it cracked and it's driving me nuts. I gotta get it fixed.

I think I saw some on Pinwall Cycle on ebay.

Had my hopes up, but after looking thru 38 pages of parts, they seem to have every part available except cowlings.

You might want to consider mending it, http://www.plastex.net/index.php?pr=Home_Page makes a great product. I've done a repair for friend who dumped his venture and completely shattered his cowling... that was a couple years ago now and it’s still as good as new.

Don't give up on Pinwall. They add parts constantly....they usually have those cowlings. I'll bet if you call them and ask, they may even be able to come up with one.

I agree, give them a call. I called them when I was looking for a part when I was doing my mod and they were great.... They get in bikes all the time..

If you call and they don't have one 'on hand' you can always get your name on a waiting list for one. They call you when they get one in and it is your turn, then you get first crack at it.

Well, a nice girl helped me out. The don't have one at this time. They won't/can't put me on a list because they don't have the manpower. I'll just have to check every day.

 

I did tell them about venturerider.org and how many people there shop their site. She was surprised. Maybe in time it will lead to some sort of discount.

Interesting. I was on a list for a rear shock... maybe that was just 'a line' they gave to appease me... Or maybe they are understaffed now or something.
