CLASS works in rear not front

I friend of a friend who just purchased an 83 VR and the CLASS air system works fine in the rear, but does not work at all in the front.. I told him to check the solders in the CLASS system, and he said it does not appear that there are any cracks in the solder..I thought he may have missed some, but might there be any other reasons

I put Progressive Springs in the forks of my '89 VR. That with heavy fork brace and oil change to 10w30 synthetic oil made a world of difference in handling. Bonus- since air is not recommened with Progressive Springs CLASS does not have to work in front. Best fix for the money IMHO.
