Checked Ohms from black wire to ground 0.1

Checked Ohms g/w to black wire unhooked at plug with full tank of fuel started out at about 34 slooowly worked its way up to 40 and then went blank.

The wire wound resistor for the level sensor probably has a break in it.

If myou want your clutch to respond better, replace (or rebuild) the slave cylinder, along with draining and if possible rebuilding the master as well. Use a vacuum pump to bleed. If it isn't strong enough after that, replace your rubber lines with stainless steel lines. That should do it!!

 

There is also a possibility that your gas gauge problem is up on the dash. The pins on the printed circuit board where the main cable plugs in have problems with cracked solder connections. You can always take a 100 ohm resistor and connect it across the sensor wires while they are disconnected and see if your gauge wil give you any bars. That should help point you in the right direction...
