Freebird Posted April 15, 2010 #26 Posted April 15, 2010 That looks good....but I like even MORE subtle. Here are a couple of examples of what I would like.
Mariner Fan Posted April 15, 2010 #27 Posted April 15, 2010 I saw a new bike with the "flames". They are decals and look like it. Not real impressed. Hopefully, they aren't cleared over so all you have to do is take a heat gun to it and peal them off.
mrich12000 Posted April 15, 2010 #28 Posted April 15, 2010 What's the cost in the states? Saw one here in Calgary for 17,995.00.
Karl C. Posted April 15, 2010 #29 Posted April 15, 2010 My own personal taste likes just a really good quality paint job that is very pleasing to the eyes. I am not fond of stripes, all kinds of skulls and the such. I dont knock people that do, i just dont myself... If I can get my venture parts all gathered for the fairing and get it together this winter I am going to paint it, but not sure what color yet. I am really thinking of somehting to help other drivers see it easier...
YamaDuck Posted April 15, 2010 #30 Posted April 15, 2010 That looks good....but I like even MORE subtle. Here are a couple of examples of what I would like. Now this looks like my friends. $500 out the door. If my bike was one color I would have Flames like this on my bike.
BoomerCPO Posted April 15, 2010 #31 Posted April 15, 2010 Well dang....after seeing that Venture with decals I just cancelled an Order for some vinyl decals. I'm with you guys....really does nothing for the scoot. Boomer....who sure liked those Cheesecake decals tho.....
Pecker Posted April 15, 2010 #32 Posted April 15, 2010 flames are for jeff gordon fans:thumbdown:none for me thanks! Now that's funny!! Dave (an old school Intimidator fan)
YamaDuck Posted April 16, 2010 #33 Posted April 16, 2010 What's the cost in the states? Saw one here in Calgary for 17,995.00. They list for over $19,000. $19,490 or something like that. I don't know how much you can actually buy one for though.
YamaGeezer Posted April 16, 2010 #34 Posted April 16, 2010 If you buy that flamed out Venture, do you have to dress like a pirate when you ride it?
BuckShot Posted April 16, 2010 #35 Posted April 16, 2010 I'm with you, cheapened it right up in my opinion. Someone throw a bucket of water on Yamaha and wake them up. Just my 2 cents, still a great bike, but they need to catch up.
Aussie Annie Posted April 16, 2010 #36 Posted April 16, 2010 If you buy that flamed out Venture, do you have to dress like a pirate when you ride it? How 'bout this?
rickardracing Posted April 16, 2010 #37 Posted April 16, 2010 These are the flames on my wifes bike. Granted, not for everyone, but I like em.
