Best source for saddle bag spacer?

I seem to have lost the "chrome" top rear saddlebag bolt spacer (2nd Gen). What's the best place to get a replacement?

another TD.....LOL I would try yama, but that may be a shot in the dark, why not get a peace of chrome plumbing pipe from the hardware store and cut to fit???

I was thinking about drilling out a socket and using that. But I thought maybe there was a salvage source available.

Bongobob is selling parts after having a trike conversion. I think there are a couple others selling parts from either conversions or recent salvage operations....

Pinwall would be a place to check (but their shipping is usually pretty crazy for this couple dollar part).

 

I wonder if you could find some conduit that would be of an acceptable diameter

Or chrome pipe as Kreg suggested.

Thanks! It constantly confuses me how Yamaha prices stuff. $12 for rubber vacuum port caps. $4.75 for a shiny metal spacer. I thought it'd be more. Culpa mea for not looking.

I hear you! I was quite surprised to see that it was less than $5. I was expecting a minimum of ~$20 or so. I looked it up out of curiosity - for you and because I was ready for a chuckle (and to give me the 'ol, "Self, you better not loose those suckers" talk).

Dave, True Value hardware stores carry chrome fasteners. In that assortment there spacers. If you don't have one near, you I can pick one up.
