Looks a little rough around the edges. Given the issues, is it still worth $4900?

Yeah...it is, especially if it's got only 17K onit for miles. Looks can be decieving, lots of folks look at the '89 I sold Cliff and tell me how nice it looks. Let me tell you that it didn't look anywhere near that good when I got it. Lots of elbow grease has been put into it, I could make that MM shine like a new penny. It's not a terrible price and he is accepting offer on it. If that could be got for about the $4K mark, that would be a very good deal I think.

I agree that could easily be a beutiful cycle again. Probably $4500 would do it, replace the seat (keep the tan though) probably tires and a major tuneup and your in business. Hope someone here gets it!

It is hard to tell from the pictures they post if the painted surface(s) are just dirty and need a good wash and wax, or if the paint is actually damaged (trunk lid in particular).

It also needs a CB antenna.

NADA puts Low retail at $5,275 and Avg retail at $6,880.

They do say that it runs but does not idle. So considering that baring no other major issues they are neglecting to mention, plus having to do the standard fluids, recovering the seats, the antenna and possibly having to paint the trunk lid, somewhere around 4,000 or 4250 in my opinion is probably fair.

I do see that someone made an offer that was declined - I wonder what the offer was?

If I was in the area, I would probably go take a look at it in person to see what it really looks like - but, I'm a wee bit away from Penn.
