Shot Posted April 12, 2010 #1 Posted April 12, 2010 My wife's Yorky really wants to go riding but he is now around 10 lbs and won't fit in my jacket. When is was a little pup I would put him in my jacket and away we would go. I have a venture R/S. Thanks.
keithert Posted April 12, 2010 #2 Posted April 12, 2010 I've seen cages mounted to either a luggage rack or even a separate trailer. With the RSV remove the trunk and mount a small dog carrier.
mini-muffin Posted April 12, 2010 #3 Posted April 12, 2010 Ok first off that title is hysterical, especially knowing it's about a yorky. Don't think you can get a seat on that pup. Let alone get your feet off the ground. Oh your title is "riding the dog" I mean a great dane I can see, but not a yorky. :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf: Now back to the normal responses. Margaret
massey130 Posted April 12, 2010 #4 Posted April 12, 2010 there is a back pak kind of rig that goes in the front. kind of like an arm sling that would work.

hale374 Posted April 12, 2010 #12 Posted April 12, 2010 Go to Ebay and search for "motorcycle pet carriers". They have a good selection at reasonable prices and various mounting positions. One may work for you. Here's a link: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=motorcycle+pet+carriers&_sacat=See-All-Categories Chris

massey130 Posted April 13, 2010 #17 Posted April 13, 2010 All that one is missing is a hole/drain in the bottom for easy clean up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ wouldn't a pet suffer hearing loss eventually from the noise coming from the tail pipes? especially if there the ride is for several hours.
LilBeaver Posted April 14, 2010 #18 Posted April 14, 2010 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ wouldn't a pet suffer hearing loss eventually from the noise coming from the tail pipes? especially if there the ride is for several hours. I hadn't thought of that. How about the exhaust fumes too?
