Black Owl Posted October 12, 2007 #1 Posted October 12, 2007 Folks, I am by no means a prude...... And I enjoy a good joke as much as anyone, and I know I have told more than my fair share of "blue" jokes in my yound life. But, please remember that it is our intent to try and maintain this as a PG rated site. That being said, I have done a soft delete on one of the jokes and will have the other moderators review it. If they feel it is appropriate, it will be reactivated. And I will stand corrected and will personaly apologize to the member that posted it. Thanks you.

SilvrT Posted October 12, 2007 #8 Posted October 12, 2007 Heck, when it comes to sex anymore, Im like an old dog chasing a hub cap...once I caught it all I could do is .......bark at it.. Speaking about barking... I used to have a dog named sex. One day he got lost. I went out looking for him and as I walked through the neighborhood, I called out his name. Several time I would call out "here sex... c'mon sex... where'd ya go sex.." It wasn't long before a cop car came along..... Seems some of the neighbors thought I was a bit crazy.
DragonRider Posted October 12, 2007 #9 Posted October 12, 2007 I missed it too...................HINT Be nice!

I am pretty sure that it was the joke that I posted and I am sorry. I knew that it was borderline and probably should not have posted it. I do not want to start controversy so just leave it off. After I went back and read it, it was not as funny as when it was told to me. My apologies, Brent
Venturous Randy Posted October 13, 2007 #16 Posted October 13, 2007 Cruising around on a motorcycle at 14 was why I never started smoking. A gallon of gas and a pack of cigarettes cost about the same(and they still do). I had a lot more fun on a gallon of gas than a pack of cigarettes. Now it's getting, as my dad used to say, "It is like shooting pool with a rope" RandyA
86er Posted October 13, 2007 #17 Posted October 13, 2007 Hey Skid.............. I missed it too...................HINT Hey Mister Owl......Where do you think you lost control of this?!?!?

Squidley Posted October 13, 2007 #20 Posted October 13, 2007 Thanks Russell for your diligence in keeping the site on the strait and narrow. I personally didn't read it but your descretion is always spot on, let sleeping dogs lie. ....and Charlie....be good
Rocket Posted October 13, 2007 #21 Posted October 13, 2007 it was about a Grandma who was hitting her TV because it had poor Reception ... not bad, but noot thaaaaaat funny, me thinks ... I had to print off a copy at work, after my supervisor saw it, as he wanted a hard copy, it was shown around the shop. It was pointed out by a few, that some young children have a knack to embarrass adults, with the way they say things. BTW It got a chuckle here, from all that read it. Prompted a story from one, on how her 2 yr old (at that time) son had embarrassed her husband before, in a public washroom.
Squeeze Posted October 13, 2007 #22 Posted October 13, 2007 It's a bit concerning for me, as Religion does not take that Place in the german and european Society. I actually tought a Lot about it yesterday in the Evening while working on my Bike. If it wasn't be a Minister in the Game, maybe a Plumber, a Guy from the Phone Company or a Relative, this Joke would be the almost the same, but i'm quite sure that Russel would have let it go. So, once there is anything religious in the Game, Mankind seems to be getting eager. But there is more than just one Religion around the World and every Religion has their own Pracitices and NoGo's. In Fact, today is the Day which the islamic Ramadan Month is ending. A Big Feast for all those Folks. I just remembered the Dimension of Insult when the Drawings of that danish Magazine showed up, two Years ago. If we all feel offended by anything that is beyond our Understanding of political Correctness and religious Respect, we need to consider at least 4 or 5 of the 7 world spanning Religions. Man, that's a Lot of Rules to obey, a Lot of them i do not even know .... Hopefully, i do not get shot by someone i offended by accidenttaly running over a Cow, eating a Porkleg or drinking a Beer.

Squeeze........... You are confused on which joke was deleted. The one about Grandma's boyfriend is still there. And for those that know me can tell you, it has nothing to do with religion.
Squeeze Posted October 13, 2007 #24 Posted October 13, 2007 Sorry Russel, i was obviously in Error ... So, please disregard what i've said regarding this Joke. I'd tought about the Issue, as i'm also Mod/Admin on a Board which is closed, for registrated Members only. Membership is free, no Charges but, dued to german Law and for safety Reasons of both, Members and Owner and Operators, was closed for public Access 3 Months ago. The 'Watering Hole' Section is not so pg-rated in some Threads, and one needs to be a Lot more open minded to look a some Pictures or Quotes the Members need to bring up. This has been, so far not that Problem for me, but i think i never would be as Kind as you've been ... I take out what i feel, doesn't belong there without any Notice. After reviewing by my Co's, not only one Item was surfaced again.
Black Owl Posted October 13, 2007 Author #25 Posted October 13, 2007 Not a problem Lutz. I spent seven years working in Germany, so I am more than familiar with the more liberal social attitudes over there. And in many ways, I think that the relaxed attitude is much healthier.
