Jethroish Posted April 2, 2010 #1 Posted April 2, 2010 After replacing the battery a few days ago, I had to redo my presets on the radio. I know about holding the up or down button to scan up or down to the next station and that is what I normally do. But the other day, I did something, don't know what, that let me manually scroll the dail up to the station I wanted without having to stop at every signal the radio received. Anyone have any idea what I did to put the radio in "manual" mode? I have tried several things but cannot get it to replicate.
FreezyRider Posted April 2, 2010 #2 Posted April 2, 2010 Hey Bronson, Here is a link to a page from the manual. http://picasaweb.google.com/wingriders/SouthernIndianaOct09#5455625060409681058 I'm really glad you asked this question. I've been wondering about this too, and you gave me the prompting I needed to go look it up. Now I'm heading out to try it! Joe
Jethroish Posted April 2, 2010 Author #3 Posted April 2, 2010 Thanks Joe. So my summary is this: Push the "select" button to cycle through all selection until you get back to the frequency. Then, push the up/down button. There you have it. You are now in manual mode. To go back to your "presets," simply wait 3+ seconds and hit the up/down and it will go back to prestes. Thanks for the help Joe.
Owen Posted April 2, 2010 #4 Posted April 2, 2010 Thanks! I did not know that you could manually tune the radio.
