I'm moving on...

Thank you all, especially to Free Bird, and perhaps others the keep this site going that are unknown to me.

Sold my Venture and bought an FJR. The Venture will always hold a special place in my memory like my R5C and TX650. An awesome bike for long straight roads.

This site's tech info got me through a clutch upgrade and valve adjustment. Thank you again.

Thank you all.

Ride on,

Heck....that doesn't mean you have to leave us. It's not just about the bikes. It's about the friendships, the rides, the food. :) I do hope you enjoy the new FJR though, they are great bikes.

Hey like the boss said you don't have to leave. Heck we have moderators that don't have ventures. Hope you enjoy your FJR, but you don't have to go anywhere.

Hey, Slab - part of the introduction to this site reads (and I quote by copy and paste) -

we have members who ride many different makes and models. All are welcome.

you don't have to leave, someone may have a bike like your new one and could help. or just hang around and read jokes. cruise by now and again.

Like said you don't need to go anywhere. And we need to know about that FJR. If I ever buy another new one it will probally be a FJR Or a Victory or a Gold Wing or a 2.. 2.. I can't say IT!!

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. My 2002 RSMV isn't sold yet but I am picking up a 2007 FJR in the next week or so.
