My Uncle sent me this, and I just thought it was funny, and sounded like the kind of President we should have!

 

AMERICA NEEDS A CANDIDATE WITH THIS PLATFORM!!

 

I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT IN THE YEAR 2012.

 

 

 

HERE IS MY PLATFORM:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(1). Any use of the phrase: 'Press 1 for English' is immediately BANNED!!!. English is the official language; speak it or wait outside of our borders until you can.

 

(2). We will immediately go into a two year isolationist attitude in order to straighten out the greedy big business posture in this country. America will allow NO imports, and we'll do no exports. We will use the 'Wal-Mart 's policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.' We'll make it here and sell it here!

 

(3). When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it coming in here.

 

(4). All retired military personnel will be required to man one of the many observation towers located on the southern border of the United States (six month tour). They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

 

(5). Social Security will immediately return to its original state If you didn't put nuttin in, you AIN'T gettin nuttin out. Neither the President nor any other politician will be able to touch it.

 

 

(6). Welfare. -- Checks will be handed out on Fridays, at the end of the 40 hour school week, the successful completion of a urinalysis test for drugs, and passing grades.

 

(7). Professional Athletes -- Steroids? The FIRST time you check positive you're banned from sports ... for life.

 

(8). Crime -- We will adopt the Turkish method, i.e., the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more 'life sentences'. If convicted of murder, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for the victim you killed: gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

 

(9). One export of ours will be allowed: wheat; because the world needs to eat. However, a bushel of wheat will be the EXACT price of a barrel of oil..

 

(10). All foreign aid, using American taxpayer money, will immediately cease and the saved money will help to pay off the national debt and, ultimately, lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask The American People if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision as to whether, or not, it's a worthy cause.

 

(11). The Pledge of Allegiance will be said EVERY day at school and every day in CONGRESS.

 

(12). The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

I've followed Bill Cosby all my life and can truly say he has all the qualities of a good leader. He's about as down to earth as they come. Wholesome and rock solid common sense. He has infuriated some with his constructive critism, but hey, isn't that part of your responsibility when one has made it, to, "Give some back"? And what better than some good advice.

 

Nope he just wouldn't work out at our nations capital. He wouldn't be part of the buddy system that exists on BOTH sides.

Good gracious. Is it too much to ask that you guys at least try to check the truthfulness of the stuff you post?? If you don't know how to do that, then you shouldn't post this stuff (IMO).

I agree with President Carter that racism is playing a role in recent outbursts against President Obama. See my entire statement posted on the discussion board.

Yes, I would vote for Bill if he decided to run. We've all got a bit of racism in us. That means everyone, including myself. If its not the blacks, then its the Mexicans or the Japanese, Chinese or Tiawaneese etc... so on and so forth.

Racism is alive and well wether one wants to admit it or not. Bill knows it and has lived it. He doesn't use that as a reason not to succeed though. Personal responsibility is what he asks for for. Take credit for what you do in this world wether its good or bad, and above all, don't blame someone else.

As for George Carlin, He use to be one of the funiest comedians I knew. That is of course before he resorted to being a foul mouth every other word. A real pity, such talent wasted...

The only problem I see with that is Wall-Mart only cares imported items, I have not found anything that thay sell that was made in the USA.

 

I think there should be one more added to the list.

(2.5) If you don't have the money in your pocket you cant have it. there will be no more credit cards or lones. It will be up to the seller whether or not to grant you the use of I.O.U.'s, this last part was left in for the farmers and the store's wear thay get there feed and supplies.

(2.6) If you have more than 3 acres of tillable land you are required to grow food to sustain your self and others around you, If you have more than 10+ acres you are to do the first part and raise live-stock. there will be NO ZONIONG RESTRICTIONS against this and all is subject to FFA, USDA & DEC regulations. "DEC has full authority on this to keep balance of the ecosystem"

I can go on and on but than I would be band from string up the pot.

I'd much rather fine Congress, Senate and House both, for every time they vote on party lines. Obama may be a mistake. I've thought most of the ones elected in the last 30 years were. But a Congress that is so locked into Democrat vs Republican is the major cause of most of the problems in this country. I don't know how many Jr Congressmen, from all over this country, have left office because they got tired of the infighting and nothing getting done. And I've no doubt there are a few Senators who have left for something along those lines as well.

 

 

I've got a few other ideas to go along with that one but this IS a motorcycle forum, not a political blog, so I will leave them for another time and place.

 

As for George Carlin and his 7 dirty words, he may have had a "fluent" way of expressing himself, but he quite often had something I thought was worth saying.
