motorcyle jacket and helmet advice

well im in need of a new jacket and helmet. i want to be seen.as much as possible. im thinking of a white helmet but not sure of the jacket. i want to go with a look that almost makes me look like a motorcyle cop. and be legal. i have a shoie helmet but its over 9 years old. and fell and hit the bedroom floor from a height of about 5 feet. so i just dont trust it no more. as for a jacket somone thought they need mine and helped them selfs to a old black one i had from like 10 years ago. im sure if i look at the local pawn stores it would turn up there. due to good food it wouldnt fit now anyways. so if any one has a jacket and helmet they would be willing to sell let me know. im a big guy weight wise 245 lbs size 46 waist. not sure of my chest size. ii wear 2 xl t shirts if that helps. my helmet size is xl. any ideas where to look for this gear?

For hi vis have you checked out the Joe Rocket Military Spec jacket? The vest can be worn over any jacket too.

I have a nice 2XLT FirstGear Killimonjaro jacket that is 3 years old. You will need to be a big guy for this to fit. I am 6'4", 270 and it is a little wide of shoulder and long of sleeve.

 

Excellent jacket (I purchased another on a little smaller) that is very warm with the liner, good circulation with the vents open, and completely waterproof.

 

The jacket is red/black. I currently have it for sale on advriders.com for $125 shipped. Would let it go for $100 plus actual shipping (not much of a bargin, but there would be some savings I think). Depending where you are in IL, I could possibly deliver (travel to St. Charles, IL area frequently).

I bought a Joe Rocket cloth jacket from New Enough at a great price. It has shoulder pads, elbow pads, and a back pad. It has zippers that can be opened to allow extra air flow in the summer, and an insulated removeable liner for use in the winter.
