Jim: meds allowed him to sleep well-no surgery as of yet. Ben had a rough night-meds not working well-no surgery as of yet. Daniel: no updates yet. Mike: doing well- able to drive his motorcycle home last night. this was a post from one of his friends who is evidently visiting frequently. More prayers sent Ben , family , and friends Daviod

Riderduke got the call about the accident around 10:00 last night from Jacob, Ben's friend. We haven't been able to get any information and Riderduke is already on the way home. I was offline last night when you posted on FB and you were offline when I got back on. Keep us posted on what you hear. just pulled the following info from his facebook page. UPDATE: Ben: both arms broken, broken elbow, broken collarbone, broken ribs, dislocated shoulder and elbow. Jim: broken ankle. Daniel: broken wrist and internal bleeding (they are about to do another scan to check the bleeding). Mike was able to drive his bike from the accident to MUSC. 5 people on 4 motercycles and 1 car (maybe 2) were involved in the accident. Ben was medevac-ed from the accident straight t to MUSC. He's suffering injury's w/ his shoulders, arms and ribs. Ben's Dad and Mom were riding on their bike behind him. Jim (father) has some serious injury's to his legs and ankle, and Lynn...e (mother) was able to walk after the accident. Daniel (his brother in law) has some internal bleeding and Mike (?) (a friend of their from church) was able to walk away from the accident also. I'll try to keep everyone updated as I hear more information. David

They are definately operating on one arm, but hope to do both of them. If they are able to do both, the surgery should last at least 4 hours. I also checked to see if there was any news from local papers or tv news nothing that I could find. Which is kinda surprising if they had to medivac someone to a hospital. painterman67 Posted March 28, 2010 #46 Posted March 28, 2010 ok just got some more news from Tonya. turns out she is Lynne's sister. Lynne was in the wreck also. Ben was able to have both arms operated on in a 4 hour surgery. He's on a liquid diet now and Lynne is still waiting to speak with the sergeon to see how things went. Jim went into surgery at 2:00 and as of 45 minutes ago, he wasn't out yet. David

gunkylump Posted March 28, 2010 #50 Posted March 28, 2010 Hey all, I just got a call from Josh, Friend of Gamecock. It seems that gamecock was involved in an accident. He went to Myrtle beach to visit his parents on Friday and spend the weekend riding with his Dad. Today they were riding in SC and I guess a cager and them were involved in a wreck. Ben (gamecock) was in the lead and took the brunt of the damage. Two broken arms, I'm not sure what else. His dad and friend were banged up also. Right now he is in a Hospital in Charleston SC and tomorrow he will be undergoing surgery on his arms. This about all the info I have right now. I'll post more as it comes in. let put him on our prayer lists. Thanks!!!!! Wow...terrible news. He will be in our thoughts! gunk
