Hang in there I know its gotta hurt. Pleases stay by a phone just in case. I lost my gall-bladder and had to wait till Monday to go to DR. The DR , Emergency room, nurses etc kept telling me I shouldn't still be alive. Spend 3 days in intensive care after intense surgery to removed the gangrene from inside my abdomen. So from that you can ascertain it ain't nothing to mess with. It gets really nasty.MY surgeon and my local pharmacy still point me out as the guy who shoudn't have lived. Guess I'm blessed.

We'll pray that everthing goes OK for you.

Dave,

I hope my bumpy road did not dislodge them stones last Fall  Maybe the new Bunk House Taj Mahhal Add-A-Room excitement got them stones moving :puzzled:. Mimi and I wish you faster healing :2143:. Sorry to say Uncle Sam will not have me in Columbus, OH anymore.

Good luck with the gall bladder. Laproscopic surgury isn't too bad for recovery time. Do as the doctors tell you and things will get better.

I had gall bladder attacks for about a year and a half before I figured out what it was and told the doctors. You would think they could figure it out. Anyway I thought I was going to die every time I had an attack. Usually lasted from 4 to 6 hours. Once they confirmed I had gall stones they sent me to a specialist. He gave me two options and one of the options was removal of the gall bladder. I chose this option and have been very happy ever since.:sign woo hoo: The doc said some people can not eat certain foods but I eat whatever I want. The next three days after surgery I was pretty useless. I was in a lot of pain. After I recovered it was great. Took several weeks before I could try certain foods but I was lucky and I ended up eating whatever I wanted. Good luck I think you will be happier without it.:thumbsup2:

I had my gall bladder removed when I was 19, haven't had any problems living without the thing. My wife on the other hand has had a few problems. She has to take pills to help control her bowels. She had an acute pancreatitis, spent all together about 4 mos in hospital, so the doctors don't know for sure if that or losing her gall bladder is what caused this problem.

Had mine removed almost 27 years ago - one slice of cucumber would set off an attack that would last for days. Getting rid of that thing was one of the best things that ever happened to me...

Good luck - you will feel so much better without it.

Thanks for all the feed back

I go in Tuesday March 30

The worst now is the head ache I have had for since Thursday

The stomach and back pain has evened out Still very uncomfortable

Then 4 people from work

Called me and offered to take the day off and help me on Tuesday

getting to and from the hospital

In thinking about this has been acting up for some time now mostly during the night

I just assumed it was what I ate or to late at night

Pizza Sauce from some restaurants has been a real problem

My as some named it Sudden Death Chili

Coffee over the past few weeks I have had to thin it out

I would be laying in bed at night thinking this stuff is going to kill me

Thursday night a kick in the nuts would have been welcome

Thanks again
