Almost got swacked twice yesterday. One from a lady that swerved into my lane and the other from a guy that just pulled out in front of me. How many lights do we need? I run with my high beams on in the daytime, but I'm thinking "flashing lights" or something especially in high traffic areas. Can you fix the front turn signals to flash on a RSTD? What is the best light setup? Thanks for any suggestions!

Just ordered the "VisiPath sS75H4". Is this the one you just installed? The reviews indicated it would work; although, some of the forum comments said it didn't work on a 1st Gen bike. Did you do the brake light also?

I did both front and rear, have had many folks say they saw lights modulating well ahead of needing to brake suddenly. As for the back brake I bought the "Back Off" unit. Really gets the attention of folks following too close. My opinion in this matter and it does differ from some is whatever it takes to get folks to see me then so be it including modulating lights. You don't say, but I noticed a big difference with people pulling out in front of me when I added the passing lamps.

You mean more people pulled out when you added the lamps?

Shipper I went with the Plug-N-Play from KISAN. On the back I added a 15" LED just under the trunk last summer. My riding buds says it really jumps out and was a nice addition.

on the trunk - i added the "knight rider led light bar" last year.....from Custom Dynamics.

VERY visible and it works great!

less than $30...

for the front - i installed dual air-horns from JC Whitney. compressor mounts in place of the regualr horn, air horns - one under each floorboard... i'm not a peg-scraper....

In both the tight squeezes I remembered that I accelerated to get out of the squeeze. Guess if (or when) I wipe out it'll be from accelerating instead of braking. At least there's no danger of my brakes locking up! :2132:

I added LED front turn signals that are on bright all the time and go off to signal.. And I added passing lamps.. I noticed people give me more room now. Of course you still have to watch for the morons that wouldn't notice a Mack truck riding next to them.

for the rear I added a full LED tail/brake light and a license frame with red LED brake/tail lights on the top and bottom, and amber LED signals on either side. Left my stock rear signals just that, stock.
