Blue Ridge Parkway May 7-13th

I am thinking of trailering my bike to Asheville NC May 7-13th and camping on the BPR with my 2 little dogs, was just wondering if anyone would like to go for a nice ride while I was up there.

Darn... it's about 370 miles away from me & looks like a nice ride, but...

 

That Saturday I leave for a week at Sedona, AZ of hiking & climbing.

We have a few NC and TN members that aren't far from there. They may be able to join you. We'll be there in August this year, it's on the calendar. If you can try and come back up. I'll be down in FL for the meet on the 8th myself.

Sounds like a great ride. I been wanting to ride and camp on the parkway for a couple years. I'll be following this thread...

I've been on the BRP and camped. In early June, it's really beautiful.

I have been trying to remember the name of the road, (like the parkway) to the north.

Anyone?

The northern part is called the Skyline Drive in Virginia...
