Your Own Garmin Voices

Here is a little program that you can make yours or someone Else's voice work on your Garmin. I was thinking of having my Daughter Enter the voice commands.

 

Like Daddy, I have to recalculate again damn it ! Or you can have your wife or girlfriend yell at you when you made the wrong turn! I think It would be fun to try.

 

Just thought I would pass it along to everybody!

NOTE that this will not work for all Garmin units. The Zumo 550 is NOT voice compatible and many others aren't also.

In the right column it lists models that are voice compatible. Appears to be only some, maybe all, of the Nuvi series.

I had to delete almost all the voices on my ZUMO 550 just to make enough room to load the 2010 map update. There’s not much room left on the unit, anything else will have to go on a SD card.
