Yamaha Head Set

I am looking at a Yamaha Head set on e-bay. Package shows it is a Yamaha Product. The seller says it is a 6 pin din connector. I have a 2006 RSV and the info I have says my connecting receptical is a 5 pin. Anyone know if this will item will work on my bike?

the yamaha headset that you are looking for is made by a company called j&m

thats j and m and it is a five pin connection, and no a 6 pin will not work.

 

same part from j&m is cheaper without the yamaha sticker stuck to the front of the box.

If you are looking at the higher end units, take a look at Edsets also. Much better sound in my opinion.
