CMIKE Posted March 22, 2010 #5 Posted March 22, 2010 If they slip a little after you install them...becareful not to tighten them up to tight. For some reason mine did. Cut shim out of a beer...I mean coke can and put it inside the clamp. This made mine solid as a rock.

Dave77459 Posted March 22, 2010 #9 Posted March 22, 2010 When I bought mine, I bought the "Longhorn Offset Peg Mounts with 1 Inch Clamps" with separate pegs (I got the "Switchblade Footpegs"). That is, the mounts were sold separately from the actual pegs. Dave
LilBeaver Posted March 22, 2010 #10 Posted March 22, 2010 If they slip a little after you install them...becareful not to tighten them up to tight. For some reason mine did. Cut shim out of a beer...I mean coke can and put it inside the clamp. This made mine solid as a rock. I read about a lot of people having this problem, and I actually didn't have an issue with the slippage at all. I think the diameter of the crash bars vary as you move down the bar - which may explain why some do and some don't have issues with the slippage.
rickardracing Posted March 22, 2010 #11 Posted March 22, 2010 I ordered 1" Long Horn Offsets off of Ebay last Thursday. I expect them to be in tomorrow. I also bought 1" clamps for the brace.
