yamahamer Posted March 22, 2010 #1 Posted March 22, 2010 I put 320 miles on her friday and so far I love it! I do miss my Venture but I have something I can ride now! http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/MARKANDBINA/scavy%20pics/scavy014.jpg
LilBeaver Posted March 22, 2010 #4 Posted March 22, 2010 ... but I have something I can ride now! ... :clap2: Hey hey!! Glad you like your new ride Great picture too, by the way - at first glance I thought it was one of the 'official' yamaha pictures...
CMIKE Posted March 22, 2010 #5 Posted March 22, 2010 Great looking bike. I really like the strats. I cannot wait till that Stratoliner Deluxe to get to the dealer show rooms. Am I gonna trade Black Betty for Black Strat? Don't think so. I am trying to talk my boy into trading or selling that Midnight VStar Custom 650 for a new Strat.. He wants a Raider...probably would be a good bike but does not even look comfortable. I may try bribe him with some cash to help buy the Strat if he goes that route. I will ride it while he is at work...just to break it in. Sweet looking machine
86er Posted March 22, 2010 #7 Posted March 22, 2010 Very nice, Dan!!! Now, just keep the rubber on the ground! (Like I'm one to talk!! )
Eck Posted March 22, 2010 #8 Posted March 22, 2010 Very nice Mark. Very nice.. Not sure how the comfort will be for your better half, but tell Sabrina if she doesn't want to ride with you, that I just happen to have a GW she can ride. :sign just kidding:
TDunc Posted March 22, 2010 #9 Posted March 22, 2010 Great looking ride. :2cents:You know, sometimes it is just the little details. I really like what the front fender support and the way it is done. It just adds that little extra. Making it big and following the lines on the tank was a neat move. Enjoy
Yama Mama Posted March 23, 2010 #15 Posted March 23, 2010 I really love the looks of your bike, it is really nice. Ride safe, and enjoy every mile of the ride. Yama Mama
Zfrebird4 Posted March 23, 2010 #16 Posted March 23, 2010 :)Yep I like the tank lines and the extra chrome on the side of the front fender too. Rubber up, and enjoy, with your Lady behind or beside on her own. JackZ
BigBoyinMS Posted March 23, 2010 #17 Posted March 23, 2010 Great bike! Once I get to my new place and have more room, a 'liner will probably be the 4th bike in the garage. They handle great and will take my big butt up past 100... way quick!
yamahamer Posted March 23, 2010 Author #18 Posted March 23, 2010 Thanks everyone for the kind coments. It's a sweet ride and sooooooo light next to the Venture. And ECK you will have to get in line Everyone has said they will haul Sabrina for me if she don't like it. Lucky for me she does!
86er Posted March 24, 2010 #19 Posted March 24, 2010 Very nice, Dan!!! Now, just keep the rubber on the ground! (Like I'm one to talk!! ) Oops!!! My Bad!!! I thought that Yammerdan had started this post. Enjoy your new ride, Mark! But, oh yeah, you keep the rubber on the ground too!
Mike G in SC Posted March 24, 2010 #20 Posted March 24, 2010 I have a 2006 RSTD and a 2006 Strat. If my wife said I had to get rid of one,,,,, I sure would miss her. But, hey, really different rides,, a Caddie and a Vette. If I'm going the distance, I want the Caddie (RSTD). If I want a rocket, I take the Vette (Strat). If I want to take the wife,,,,,,,, I take the RSTD.
