where can I repair ???

I have a 85 vr 1200, 2nd gear is slipping and need a shop or someone to fix ,I am not!!! mechanically inclined!!! I live in the panhandle of Fla.

near Ft Walton Beach . No one in the phone book would work on the bike

to include the Yamaha dealers in this part of fla and lower ala.

 

please help ,the weather is great!!!

If someone can be found (Hello Georgia and Alabama!), probably just take a few days. Your's must have been made early in the year, because they re-did the tranny in 85 to fix this. Is it gone or just jumping out under heavy throttle in 2nd gear?

Bruce give me a call after 7 pm and before 2 am at 9196735095 I have done 3 trans jobs to date and have 2 more of mine to do at the moment so call me and we will discuss the logistics.

Jeff, Clay came by the house to pick up the receipt for that battery we bought for the bike, wont hold a charge, and while he was here I asked him if he had received the case for his tranny and he said he needed the gasket so I gave him the one I had here along with another gasket that I had left over, he is going to redo the clutch, oh yeah I also gave him some of my spare clutch parts, I still have the rear end but not much else.........Call me when you get a chance.
