lack of accereleration in mid and upper ranges

I am new here. I have a 2003 Venture it hesitates in the mid and uppers ranges. It also bogs down bad then all of a sudden takes off. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

How long have you had the bike? What kind of miles are on it? Have you had any maintenance done to it? Do you know when the last carb sync was done? A little more info could help us possibly track it down or narrow some options out...welcome to the forum.

Get the carbs synced, and down shift.... these bikes run much better in the upper rps.
