Just in case anyone else is considering installing a headlight modulator.

This is the best price I have found to date, and the unit got a very favorable write up in webbike world.

Hopefully this will not degenerate into a debate on whether or not one should install a modulator.

So I take it you don't really want me to go off into my 'greatest thing since sliced bread' commentary. Well, ok, if you insist. Always willing to cooperate.

Looks like a pretty small unit. Not a bad price too. :)

Click on the part that says "click here". Not a terribly well designed site.

I have one & it will not work with a 1st Gen....:bang head: As both high & low beams are powered when on high beam.....

But the Kisan Pathblazer unit will.:thumbsup2:

Interesting point. I wonder how the Diamond Star model would (or not) work. It gets wired in rather than plugged.

aww. come on, it works good I swear! besides, it's not how big it is, it's how much is flashes!

that's a real bummer it won't work with a first gen. it's raining, i'm mounting my own tires, putting zerts in the swingarm, and have run completly out of ambition! (dismounting and mounting tires with nothing but 3 spoons and a 2X4 frame is .. uh .. challenging.) I need some shiny bits to peruse to make me wanna get back at it!

Geez, I'm surprised you didn't tell me that I wouldn't need to have the headlight modulating unless I got it off the trailer. :duck:

Anywhooo. Have you been in contact with the company to let them know?

If not, I will shoot them an E-mail and see if they have any recommendations.

BTW: I know someone who may be interested if you are looking to sell it. (He too rides a Viagra) :rotfl:

Headlight is off, because it is always parked & never ridden............. :stirthepot:

They have known for well over a year, as I have been in contact with them, when I discovered the problem. I had also tried out their relay only unit too, with the same results.

I left them both on Vancouver Island, when I went back home at Xmas.

Get your fork seals changed, so you can ride it......:mo money:

Interesting. It's a framed site. Try this. That's the link to just the internal part of the frame.

A-ha! Thanks. Now that I can see it I can't use it.:confused24::D

Did you click on the "click here" in the sentence "Comagination VisiPath Motorcycle Headlight Modulator click here"? That should bring up this page.
