OldBear Posted April 21, 2010 #54 Posted April 21, 2010 '09 Red/Black RSV "Big Red" '01 BMW 650 Dakar "Thumper" ('Cause it IS!)
Aussie Annie Posted April 22, 2010 #55 Posted April 22, 2010 RSV -- "Dottie" Bike Camper -- "Fred".............[parents names]
Pecker Posted April 22, 2010 #56 Posted April 22, 2010 I have never "NAMED my bikes. Didn't even give it a second thought, if I had, I would have run out of names by now, too many bikes! Geezer Glide is hilarious ! My wife calls my current bike my "Mistress" or "Bi$%H", depends on how bad I have ticked her off. I have put more miles on and spent more time riding my RSTD than any other bike I have ever owned. So, I guess her nicknames are justifiable. Dave
The Black Pearl Posted April 22, 2010 #57 Posted April 22, 2010 As my plate states "BKPRL" The first time we saw her to pick her up it just kinda hit me The Black Pearl!!! it stuck, now my 86 that I sold last year was named Mouse Motel, after sitting for several years there were so many mouse houses, everwhere on that bike!!! lol
GuthDaddy17 Posted April 22, 2010 #59 Posted April 22, 2010 My crimson and purple RSV is "Court Jester" or "Jester" for short. (crazy color match) My white RSTD is "the white one" (no imigination)
Naked Rider Posted April 22, 2010 #60 Posted April 22, 2010 well i guess her name is HER we allways say are we takeing HER or the truck where are we taking HER this weekend so it is HER:thumbsup2:

massey130 Posted April 22, 2010 #62 Posted April 22, 2010 white lightning. that's a phrase my dad used often. our bike is a pearl white 04 RSV
RSV Angel Posted April 22, 2010 #64 Posted April 22, 2010 Named mine "Angel" because of those angels watching over us. Those who have seen my bike know about the angel theme.
Hummingbird Posted April 22, 2010 #65 Posted April 22, 2010 I guess the closest I get to a name for the Venture is "Bike"
Yammer Dan Posted April 22, 2010 #66 Posted April 22, 2010 I had to go back and update lust or is that list? No I think its lust......
Aussie Annie Posted April 23, 2010 #67 Posted April 23, 2010 "lust" that's just how you say LIST with a New Zealand accent. They speak funny over there!!
vic venture Posted April 23, 2010 #68 Posted April 23, 2010 The Venture I call Blu while riding and the only thing I've been able to say while riding the Vmax is YARRRRRRRG!!!!!
Zfrebird4 Posted April 23, 2010 #69 Posted April 23, 2010 I was buying tires for the company car. Wife meandered across the street to Yamaha dealer, looked at and climbed on the Queen Seat of then 'THEIR' 86 VR Ursula Black on Golad. She liked it, called my folks, they said it would be their present to me. She pulled me over, I sat on it, and said THIS IS MY Frebird! The next day I rode her home, brand new, and I felt like a ZFreBird. That became her name. Now on my second 86 from Squidley and Lonna, this lady is STILL called Zfrebird as well. Nothing like a Venture Royal to make me feel like a FreBird! So, Z is a Zfrebird4 now.
Bubber Posted April 23, 2010 #71 Posted April 23, 2010 Unofficially call it > BUG SMASHER! Good to Go? Steve aka Bubber
Yammer Dan Posted April 23, 2010 #72 Posted April 23, 2010 Unofficially call it > BUG SMASHER! Good to Go? Steve aka Bubber I can see the animal rights people getting all over that one!!! Abusing poor little bugs with that big thing!!:rotfl:
Rickster Posted April 23, 2010 #73 Posted April 23, 2010 I don't really have a name but the better half calls it "Her New Kitchen" aka HNK
Bubber Posted April 25, 2010 #74 Posted April 25, 2010 I can see the animal rights people getting all over that one!!! Abusing poor little bugs with that big thing!!:rotfl: I got more bug guts on it than I care to admit, left overs from last year too.
Karl C. Posted April 25, 2010 #75 Posted April 25, 2010 my 83 venture i hadnt really named it yet i guess mainly due to still getting it road ready.... but it has gone by the name of B***h when things dont go right... but my 84 V65 Honda Sabre gets full respect.... I call it "Baby". It is my baby and I absolutely love getting on 164 (evansville bypass) and just running thru the gears at full throttle.... oh my GOD... that is a blast... I have my moments when I ride professionally and I have those moments when I ride (with no cars around) like I need to relieve tension... lol:322:
