Gauges on my Royal Star

Well we finally got some nice weather and I was able to work in my shop and install the gauges on my 1996 Royal Star. I used the 2" Equus gauges because they were the closest match to the speedometer and you can change the colour of the background lighting.

Everything working and no leaks so far.

Looks good, all you need to complete the set is a tachometer..

Thanks for the kind comments, I was pleased with the results. I never liked just having the idiot lights.

Equus does not make a 2" tachometer or I would probably have put it in place of the oil pressure gauge. The smallest one they make that matches these gauges is 3 5/8" and I couldn't decide on a place to mount it that I liked the look of, will work on that.

I really only need a tach to do tune-up work so it's not essential that it is mounted on the bike, but it sure would look good.

It should fit in a 2" hole. The plate you have is for the 1 1/2" gauges which are 1.650" dia. holes in the dash plate.
