Eck Posted March 8, 2010 Share #11 Posted March 8, 2010 Very nice job. That will keep some of the small things from rattling in the trunk against the plastic. I have a large piece of black trunk liner and I just may do mine.. Gee, thanks for the great idea..just what I needed...another project to do now.. SilvrT Posted March 8, 2010 Author Share #12 Posted March 8, 2010 Very nice job. That will keep some of the small things from rattling in the trunk against the plastic. I have a large piece of black trunk liner and I just may do mine.. Gee, thanks for the great idea..just what I needed...another project to do now.. heh... there's never an end is there? Did this to my '87 as well but it was black felt... I like the light grey a lot better. Gonna make a divider for storing those "little things". Had that on my '87 also and I seen here on the site where somebody made one. A bit undecided on putting the felt on the trunk lid. Dunno how the trunk liner material is to work with but this felt is quite easy to get around corners and compound curves as it tends to stretch easy and when ya do have to make a join, it is barely noticeable. I lucked out on the material... it was an old Boy Scouts "poncho" I picked up at a second hand store for $7.00 and I've barely used 1/4 of it. That being said, if anyone local to me wants some of it, you're welcome to come over and take a piece.
Herb In Texas Posted March 8, 2010 Share #13 Posted March 8, 2010 But what about the light bar? Where is it from, is it dual intensity? I need one ever since Dawn followed me home in the dark one night last fall. She says the Venture is hard to see on a moonless night.

Beau-Kat Posted March 9, 2010 Share #17 Posted March 9, 2010 So I found a good sized piece of grey felt and spent this rainy afternoon "upholstering". The grey color oughta make things easier to find in the trunk. I like the standard organizer/pouch in my RSV and want to put one in the 88 VR trunk. Anybody have any suggestions on where to find something like that? I know I could probably make something, but it would probably not look as nice. I may be a little crafty, but have never been called a craftsman. Ha!
