dingy Posted March 6, 2010 #4 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) There is a thread dealing with this. I sorta stole Timgray's idea last year. I saw Tim's post on his concept of the lights and made my own version. Did not at the time intend to mass produce these, still don't really. I initially made two kits. one for myself, and the extra one I sold on ebay. The only reason at the time I even made second set was because I had to buy the lights in pairs from my supplier. The thread dealing with this is: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32922&highlight=halogen+headlight I have discussed my selling this with Tim and he is alright with it. I have also attached the install manual, if anyone would care to look at it. I will also provide the detailed drawings for the adapter plates if any one is interested in making their own. Please note that what is on ebay does not include the projector bulbs or wiring harness. I will assist anyone in the selection of these. Gary Edited March 7, 2010 by dingy added manual.

a1bummer Posted March 7, 2010 #8 Posted March 7, 2010 So where did you get the light housings? What vehicle were they originally from? You mentioned that you got them in pairs. So I'm guessing they were for a car, truck or SUV? Running/driving lights maybe?
painterman67 Posted March 7, 2010 #9 Posted March 7, 2010 my question is will it fit on a 91 vr? David

So I'm guessing they were for a car, truck or SUV? Running/driving lights maybe? I had located them on ebay. The sets I had gotten were auto intended. High beam is similar, just shorter in length. my question is will it fit on a 91 vr? It will only fit 83-85, MKI ventures. The headlight housuing, on the 86-93 MKII, are totally different. Gary
