Driver's Backrest

Hey guys. I'm curious as to wether or not this back rest will fit my bike. It's an 83 Venture. I know this ad says 86 to 93 but I know a lot of these parts are interchangable. Thanks guys.

The backrest itself will work, but you have to have a mount from a MKI to fit the 83 tho.
