E-Fishin-C Posted February 28, 2010 Author #28 Posted February 28, 2010 10??? That's way too optimistic. You obviously haven't seen how ugly THAT Canadian is!!! :crying:
DragonRider Posted February 28, 2010 #29 Posted February 28, 2010 Its good to see you back on a real bike, even if it is a 2nd Gen. Just dont let happen to this one like the last G2 you rode.............Good luck with it and Congratulations..
BIG TOM Posted February 28, 2010 #30 Posted February 28, 2010 Charlie , you done good, real good:banana:...enjoy the new ride..
Rocket Posted February 28, 2010 #31 Posted February 28, 2010 10??? That's way too optimistic. You obviously haven't seen how ugly THAT Canadian is!!! How true......... :rotf: Swifty, are you going to tow him, so he can keep up & not get rear ended again?????
saddlebum Posted February 28, 2010 #32 Posted February 28, 2010 Hey Charlie sorry to hear about the breakup speacially with 30 years behind you. However congrates on the new bike and trailer, looks like a nice setup (for a second Gen). Hope you don't get to thinking your to good for us guy's still riding real bikes.
Grandpagak Posted February 28, 2010 #33 Posted February 28, 2010 congrats on the new bike.. SOOOOOOOO, does this mean that we will see you at P.I.P. this year? good luck pal..
Guest Swifty Posted March 1, 2010 #34 Posted March 1, 2010 Swifty, are you going to tow him, so he can keep up & not get rear ended again????? NO, I'll just make sure that the beer stored in the saddle bags stays there until he gets off the bike because it DOES take quite a bit of skill avoiding any rear enders while riding a 2nd gen.
Sweetnothing Posted March 1, 2010 #35 Posted March 1, 2010 I only have one question for you Charlie..... Can we borrow your bike?! :rotf: Congratts on both accounts! Have a great time!
awsmsrv Posted March 1, 2010 #36 Posted March 1, 2010 Sorry Charlie. It happened to me 10 years ago, too. Got a good one since then. Goin' on 5 years now. BTW, I'm very interested to know how you like that trailer. I've had my eye on that one, but, with the pet hatch, so we could take the pugs if we wanted to.
cecdoo Posted March 1, 2010 #37 Posted March 1, 2010 I only have one question for you Charlie..... Can we borrow your bike?! :rotf: Congratts on both accounts! Have a great time! :sign yeah that::sign yeah that:
sarges46 Posted March 1, 2010 #40 Posted March 1, 2010 Congrats Charlie. I was wondering why all the questions to us that went to 2nd gens after owning 1st gens. And, yes we are sorry to hear of the other issue or maybe we should be happy for you?
Venturous Randy Posted March 1, 2010 #41 Posted March 1, 2010 Wow Charlie, I really like the combo you have there. My future ex and I have our 1st court date at 9am tomorrow with her demanding immediate spousal support, even though she just received a workman's comp settlement for almost $16,000, which btw, she is going thru like water. When my situation is over, I may not even be able to keep my old 1st gen, much less buying a beautiful 2nd gen. March 5th will be our 41st. But, this too shall pass. RandyA
Bummer Posted March 1, 2010 #42 Posted March 1, 2010 Sometimes the road's rough. Sometimes the road's smooth. The moment is what you make of it. Irene and I hope that the road is smooth and the moment shines for you. Nice looking ride. Enjoy!

Squidley Posted March 1, 2010 #45 Posted March 1, 2010 Good to see you back on a scoot you can be comfortable on. Go easy on Charlie folks, that '99 ended up being the best payoff I ever had, bought it for $5200 and got almost $9K when it was totalled And we got to go to Arkansas to boot!
Yammer Dan Posted March 1, 2010 #46 Posted March 1, 2010 This just backs up what I've said all along. When you get old and feel the need to slow down a little. BUY A 2ND GEN!!!!! Couldn't leave it alone Charlie. Hope you get a lot of miles out of it.
