emtdouggood Posted February 28, 2010 #4 Posted February 28, 2010 If no rain i will be out Sunday. It suppose to be a balmy 35.
LilBeaver Posted February 28, 2010 #5 Posted February 28, 2010 I call it quits when it gets below 20 (or there is a prospect of ice). Now, if I could find me a good pair of chaps or snow pants or maybe heated gear - I could probably drop that temp down some... But my jeans feel awfully thin when that 20 deg wind starts blowing through them.
G7mag Posted February 28, 2010 #6 Posted February 28, 2010 As long as there is no ice, I'll ride down to 20. Nothing like seeing people look at you in their dash lights when you pass them at 3 in the morning with the stereo blasting away on the way to work!!!
nickle Posted February 28, 2010 Author #7 Posted February 28, 2010 i have been out ridding in 30 dregee . but don,t make a habit of it. getting too old i guess. but i give credit where it is do.
Sylvester Posted February 28, 2010 #8 Posted February 28, 2010 I have Gerbing heated gloves and Tour Master heated jacket liner, and I still can't ride in less than 40 degrees. I am almost 64 so that could have something to do with it. God, it is tough getting old, but the rest of you will find out sooner than you think.
