i was driving in my truck though hessville. ohio. when a green over tan venture passed me . it was only 30 out. i waved . he rode all the way west on rt. 20 to perrysburg.oh. it was funny about 10 minutes later a harley passed me too .but it was in the back of a pickup. heads up for the guy ridding a true rider:97:

I call it quits when it gets below 20 (or there is a prospect of ice).

 

Now, if I could find me a good pair of chaps or snow pants or maybe heated gear - I could probably drop that temp down some... But my jeans feel awfully thin when that 20 deg wind starts blowing through them.

As long as there is no ice, I'll ride down to 20. Nothing like seeing people look at you in their dash lights when you pass them at 3 in the morning with the stereo blasting away on the way to work!!!:D

i have been out ridding in 30 dregee . but don,t make a habit of it. getting too old i guess. but i give credit where it is do.

I have Gerbing heated gloves and Tour Master heated jacket liner, and I still can't ride in less than 40 degrees. I am almost 64 so that could have something to do with it. God, it is tough getting old, but the rest of you will find out sooner than you think.
