mraf Posted February 28, 2010 #4 Posted February 28, 2010 Yah!! But the L50,000 price tag is a bit much... Ahh, go on live a little!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
Zfrebird4 Posted February 28, 2010 #5 Posted February 28, 2010 I'd buy this, but it is too low to the ground for the Dragon's Tail! LOL I'd also buy the new Victory Vision! Then I'd find the lowest mileage on an 86 VR Ursula Black on Gold and deck her out with everything. THEN I'd GIVE back my existing 86 VR to Squidley to take completely apart, have it repainted, and donate it to VentureRider.org for sale for one of our good causes, of course paying Squidley all the way! Might as well dream, eh? JackZ:Venture: Yup, I'm the guy who rides in any direction but down, am ready to go Up anytime, but certainly in no hurry, ... unless they have a brand new VR 86 waiting for me! Jz:banana:
1 Canuck Posted February 28, 2010 #6 Posted February 28, 2010 Great engineering and I'm impressed...but then again it doesn't take much! 50,000 GBP = $76,000.00 USD Yikes!
Brake Pad Posted February 28, 2010 #7 Posted February 28, 2010 way back when, in the early 80's, a german fellow showed up at the american, with a prototype of this bike. and yes the training wheels, retracted, and deployeed at 12 miles per hour. I believe he was an engineer, for areo teck company. later this afternoon, i'll go through may old album, to locate, the bike. i recall it was yellow.
Freebird Posted February 28, 2010 #8 Posted February 28, 2010 There are several on the market...here is one example. http://www.trikealternative.com/index-2.shtml Actually, that may be the only one now. There used to be one called Landing Gear but I just did a search and read that they are no longer in business.

I imagine it would get pretty hot in there even in the winter on a sunny day!!!

There used to be one called Landing Gear but I just did a search and read that they are no longer in business. I have seen and been to the Stacey MN location. It is about 8 miles from me. It is not my cup of tea but each to their own. It did look like it was well built . Bubber
