Cougar Posted March 1, 2010 Author #51 Posted March 1, 2010 Yep, all what is stated above. and also lets say my bike is stuck on the side of the road. and I want my flashers to stay on for a long time. they will not , if my headlight is turned on as well. (drained battery) My success story is that I am done. the tiny blinking LED's are on each side of the key mounted on the top tank bezel. (blinking red) when my toggles are off on my running lights and headlight they are separated from each other. If I ever forget to flip my toggles on after working on somthing There is no way now that I will not know both headlight and running lights are OFF before I begin my riding ventures. I have noticed after all my wiring this last winter, it has been nice to be able to have my headlights and running light off while doing all my stuff. Note: BOTH Headlights and Running lights are off relays now keeping my wire harness from any harm in the future I hope. Thanks Everybody! Jeff
MidlifeVenture Posted March 1, 2010 #52 Posted March 1, 2010 Glad to hear all worked out. What was the final solution. And where is the pictures:thumbsup:
Cougar Posted March 1, 2010 Author #53 Posted March 1, 2010 Scott, I will shoot some pics this week for ya. Letting some silicon dry and added some plugs to all the stuff so I can remove my tank/ ignition cover easy. my garage door opener button, switch for LED's under tank and the two small LED's for what was talked about in this thread are all on that pod, and it can now be removed with ease . for removal of tank. I also have a quick disconnect for the LED's under the tank as well. Jeff
Cougar Posted March 1, 2010 Author #54 Posted March 1, 2010 Here are some pictures of what I was after in the long run. Garage door opener (small button) Other switch for LED's under tank. and the (2) Blinking Red LED's by the Key Hole. Just plug them in and all works great.
