Yammer Dan Posted February 27, 2010 #1 Posted February 27, 2010 I know we have all heard it but it can happen so easy. No damage done but had snow shovel and was making good imitation of snow plow. Snow flying everywhere . Next thing I know I'm sitting down and couldn't get up!! Took me a while to stagger in to house. Sitting tooo much since accidents. Just take it easy when you get out there. It is very easy to push it harder than you realize you are doing.
Flyinfool Posted February 27, 2010 #2 Posted February 27, 2010 Sitting down as in found a patch of ice, or sitting down due to over exertion? I hope it was just a klutz attack and not a hint of a bigger issue.
Scooter Bob Posted February 27, 2010 #3 Posted February 27, 2010 "Watch that ***** Shovel!! " And I thought you were going to tell about a ride with Squidley. Take it easy, and get that checked out if need be. Later, Scooter Bob
Nighthawk II Posted February 27, 2010 #4 Posted February 27, 2010 Yammer, You just can't fit much snow in your pockets when you're sitting on them. Take it easy and let the sun help you get rid of the stuff. It's less painful.
Ponch Posted February 27, 2010 #5 Posted February 27, 2010 Gee, Dan, from the title of this thread, I thought ya was gonna bash Squid's Harley...
Chaharly Posted February 27, 2010 #6 Posted February 27, 2010 It's all good, now you've reached a time in your life where you slow down, and take it easy. Just relax man!

mraf Posted February 27, 2010 #9 Posted February 27, 2010 Easy Dan leave that shoveling for the young. My shoveling consists of nothing more than the steps to the house. Everything else gets John Deere.
ADC Posted February 27, 2010 #10 Posted February 27, 2010 Take it easy Dan those shovels are for young folks, snowblowers are for the older crowd.
Yammer Dan Posted February 27, 2010 Author #11 Posted February 27, 2010 I just can't find the starter cord on the blasted thing.... Didn't do any good anyway it came right back.
FROG MAN Posted February 27, 2010 #12 Posted February 27, 2010 I got to plow in the morning as soon as I can find the tractor. I know I parked it out there somewhere. MamaMo got to work tomorrow. This makes 7 days in a row.

MiCarl Posted February 27, 2010 #14 Posted February 27, 2010 Dan, You need to cut 10-12 inches off each side of that snow shovel. Not only will you not tire so quickly, it'll corner better too. Glad you're ok.
Marcarl Posted February 27, 2010 #15 Posted February 27, 2010 Take it from the experienced. just leave that stuff there and by June it'll all be gone by it's own self.
