Guest Lightnen Posted February 26, 2010 #1 Posted February 26, 2010 Hi there Peoples: I am wondering if anyone has installed the J&P Cycles riser and tach combo one is part # ZZ50825 I do believe its a 4" rise with a 1 1/2" pull back and the tach bolts on the top of handle bar keeper. I'm concerned that there may not be enough room for the tach with the fairing and all. Has anyone done this type of tach as an up grade.. Any help would be greatly appriciated..

I have that one on my VStar in the garage right now, when I go out to play tonight i do some measurements and see what it might look like.. NOTA: I just went out to have a look and it would appear that the ProOne tach riser will NOT fit on with the Venture. The back of the Tach unit itself will be right inside the cassette player area.. Shame as it would be a neat idea.. Ya never know.. mayhaps someone will come up with something.. Edited February 27, 2010 by Seaking

Thanks there Seaking, guess I'll have to go to the tach combo that bolts up to the top of clutch or front brake res. then..
