Freebird Posted February 26, 2010 #1 Posted February 26, 2010 OK folks....this is just to find out if there is any interest at all. If not, then no big deal. I have worked out a deal where we can get these bags with the VentureRider logo on the back and a 10% discount IF I can buy them in a lot of 50 units. I already have a bag and don't really need one but would buy one with the VentureRider logo if there is enough interest to get the group purchase. So...any interest at all or should I just forget about it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture-Trunk-Rack-Bag-by-Bestem_W0QQitemZ400104858013QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotorcycles_Parts_Accessories?hash=item5d281ba19d
wizard Posted February 26, 2010 #2 Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) I'd be interested. I'm looking for a rack right now. Any suggestions? Edited February 26, 2010 by wizard spelling
Freebird Posted February 26, 2010 Author #3 Posted February 26, 2010 JC Whitney sells one for the Goldwing that some have used and say it works OK but I really prefer the Yamaha rack.
painterman67 Posted February 26, 2010 #4 Posted February 26, 2010 If these would work on a first gen and the price is affordable for me Ill buy one. David
Freebird Posted February 26, 2010 Author #5 Posted February 26, 2010 The link that I posted shows them at $49.95. Our price if I order 50 would be 10% off that with the VentureRider logo included.
painterman67 Posted February 26, 2010 #6 Posted February 26, 2010 that would work for me. I read that after I posted. Will they work on a first gen? Im assun=ming so. David

Gamecock Posted February 26, 2010 #9 Posted February 26, 2010 Am I correct that this fits to the size of the Yamaha trunck rack? If so, yep, I want one! Let me know about payment Don, paypal works for me! Ben

slick97spirit Posted February 26, 2010 #17 Posted February 26, 2010 Don, Did you say that you have one and like it? If you recommend it I'd be down for one. Just don't tell the gate keeper. How does it attach?
Rickster Posted February 26, 2010 #18 Posted February 26, 2010 Count me in I'm interested let me know if it's a go.
BigD Posted February 26, 2010 #19 Posted February 26, 2010 Count me in for one, I was looking for something to spend my birthday money on.
YamaDuck Posted February 26, 2010 #22 Posted February 26, 2010 Sorry I already have one and have never used it. I could sew on the small patch I guess.
Carbon_One Posted February 26, 2010 #23 Posted February 26, 2010 I've had one of the BestEm bags for about 5 years now, but would be interested in one with the VR logo on them. Especialy if they've improved their fastening system. While most times the velcro system holds the bag in place I generaly add a couple of web straps to secure the bag. Doing that just eases my mind in securing the bag is all. Larry
