GPS mount?

I've got a Garmin nuvi 255w gps. I have the ball mount for use in the car. What I need is a handle bar mount for my RSV. Can't find any thing at garmin.com. Where should I be looking for a mount? I did stick it to the windshield with the suction cup, but it fell off at hwy speeds and scared the s--t out of me. I grabed it before it fell off the tank and gave it to the wife..

I kind of prefer the "Heads Up" Position on the Handle Bar too.

I just got mine in today. I have a Garmin Nuvi 205W.(I know, I'm cheap).

 

It cost less than $10, and I ordered it from Amazon.com. The company is www.chargercity.com. Part # is 16765819973122. It also fits the 255w.

My impression: It fits right on my GPS, but it feels a little loose. I don't think it'll come off, but it may move around quite a bit. I am going to build up the ball with some tape to tighten it up. If that doesn't work, I may get a special made one from Skydoc.

Also, I have the Ram mount with the bigger size ball if anyone needs one. I don't know which GPS Buddy had, but the ball is way too big for my 205W.

:thumbsup2:i have same exact gps and today i got my setup from gps city.com.. it came in a kit ubolt,3.75" arm, and cradle for the 255w.. $39.95 shipped to my door today. part # RAM-B-149-GA25..... will mount this next to riser cap.

Third one down on the left. Mounts on the bar, lots of options, your 255 will clip right in. Hard wire the power and you are set to go.

 

I built a sun shade from cardboard and double stick taped it on and painted it black. When that goes, I might buy one that is real, but for not, it works.
