Venturous Randy Posted February 24, 2010 #1 Posted February 24, 2010 Since I could not load the bikini side panel pictures on your PM, I will try it here. I cut the bottom section to the length I wanted and then used a heat gun to soften the plastic to bring it to a point. I then used Devcon Plastic Weld to fill and very little body filler to smooth it out. I also narrowed the top section some to make it blend with the fairing better. I hope this helps some. RandyA

Scooter Bob Posted February 24, 2010 #6 Posted February 24, 2010 Whew !!! I thought we were getting kinky..... I thought we had a winner for the Great VR Scavenger Hunt..... The current target is..... You and your bike with a beach in the background. Prefer warm and sunny with sand and blue water, but so everyone can play, I will settle for hard water and snow covered sand as well. Have fun with it... BONUS...I'll buy you a beer at the international if you're wearing your (or anybody else's) swimming suit. by Scooter Bob Body work looks great by the way. Later, Scooter Bob
Thom Posted February 24, 2010 #7 Posted February 24, 2010 Randy , i think that it is a bad idea doing that to your bike ! it opens the motor so you can see more and it keeps it cooler [ looks and temp ] and if you remove the rubber air dams , it keeps your legs cooler like i said a bad idea ! so in the end keep coming up with the bad ideas ! i am glad you showed me how to do it at Vogel many moons a go , Dindy , you need to check out his lites to ! by the way a big thanks Randy
