Cougar Posted February 22, 2010 #1 Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) Here are a couple of pics with an AMBER Crystal on the rear of the blinker housing with a Amber LED on it's own stuck into it. wired off the Custom Dynamics Led Cluster. I had all this attached to a 12 volt power source in my den with an extra blinker housing that I had to experiment with. and to show better pictures of it turned on. SUPER BRIGHT. I used the advice from human4m on the other project I was working on and he suggested to use FENDER JEWEL's for an amp , the cost was $2.99 each. and about the same size as the red one's from Radio Shack. And no my belly is not that large , it is the reflection off the rounded domed chrome housing it does look like a huge beer belly though. Here is the Original Link for the Radio Shack Mod. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=45100 NOTE: I did use the black threaded ring off the Radio Shack light, and had to enlarge the hole I already had just a small amount. Godlover Posted February 22, 2010 #7 Posted February 22, 2010 found it - now I need to buy passing lights!
Cougar Posted February 22, 2010 Author #8 Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) You do not need passing lights to do this project. you can do it on the stock as well. BUT your drilling of the hole will be in a different location. See the Kent's DIY that I had posted. click on the docDownload````.pdf http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=45100 Edited February 23, 2010 by Cougar
BuddyRich Posted February 23, 2010 #10 Posted February 23, 2010 Yea, but does it work when its not on the mouse pad ??
Cougar Posted February 23, 2010 Author #11 Posted February 23, 2010 Nope, you must have a mouse pad to make it work. 98 cents at Walmart!
wngrr Posted March 29, 2010 #12 Posted March 29, 2010 Another alternative is http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux. Works great... David
