Tom Posted February 20, 2010 #1 Posted February 20, 2010 If anyone that has a Corbin Seat and waiting for it to "Break In" well mine hasnt in the 5 years Ive had it . I found at Wal Mart yesterday a Gel seat pad with a waterproof fabric on the outside cover for only $19.00 It fits perfect on the seat and the "Waffle" design of the gel inside is very comfortable...I think I have found my cheaper alternative to the ones offered on most MC accessory sites. The wrapping on the pad says RelaXzen Gel Seat Cushion. It is in the Automotive section but I cant find any Info on the internet about it. Usually these things are an item Walmart will bulk buy on then htey are gone FYI. Tom
Gary N. Posted February 20, 2010 #2 Posted February 20, 2010 Tom, Sounds similar to one I bought last year at Canadian Tire. They had them on sale for $10. But like you said when they're gone, they're gone. I think they buy them by the container full and then that's it. I'm finding that the Butler mod on my pillow top sits me too low and I feel like I'm sitting on the frame. The cheap gel pad works in the cool weather and the seat bead work in the worm weather. I'd like to give Corbin a try but I know my passenger won't like it and they cost too much to experiment.

Gary,I had the problem on my passeger seat and Debby was gonna kill me for putting it on but I took it an upholstery shop and had them pull back JUST the Passenger seat clean out the old hard foam on the Corbin and put a special memory foam in place of Corbins hard stuff...Shes happy again! (This was 5 years ago and still holds up well.)
buddy Posted February 20, 2010 #4 Posted February 20, 2010 Snowflake highly recommends those pads very much. We had to get her one on the ST. Charles MO. M&E run last year. Our Corbin seat was killing her back, the pad from Wallie World did wonders for her back but the what really added the comfort was a sheep skin cover we got from KrossKrountry with those two together it really made her ride home much better.
