venture101 Posted February 20, 2010 #1 Posted February 20, 2010 Hope this is the correct place to ask this. Thought I was computer literate, turns out I'm just a dumb a**. I posted to my Album and want to transfer to the Gallery. How? My Dad used to say the only dumb question is the one that is not asked. Hope you agree.
Zfrebird4 Posted February 20, 2010 #2 Posted February 20, 2010 ... and he can answer that for you very well. Dan is a Puter Guru! JackZ
venture101 Posted February 20, 2010 Author #4 Posted February 20, 2010 Woops. How do I get ahold of Dan?
BuddyRich Posted February 20, 2010 #5 Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) Who the heck is Dan ? Don on the other hand.... AKA Freebird Your Gallery has your photos in it. Was there someplace else you were trying to post them ? Look just below your flags in any of your posts and you see the link to your Gallery Edited February 20, 2010 by BuddyRich
Freebird Posted February 20, 2010 #6 Posted February 20, 2010 The pic gallery is entirely different from the album. They are kind of redundant but the pic gallery was added long before the albums became part of the forum software. To add pictures to the pic gallery, click on UserCP in the lower menu bar at the top. In the left column, you will find a link called "Edit VBPicGallery". Click on that and then fill in the info at the top to add new album. The click "submit". It will take you to another page where you can upload the pictures from your computer to your gallery.
Venturous Randy Posted February 20, 2010 #8 Posted February 20, 2010 yeah, who is Dan Are we talking Yammer Dan? I know that Dan and he ain't no computer guru. RandyA
venture101 Posted February 24, 2010 Author #9 Posted February 24, 2010 Rather than reposting and changing this from my album to the gallery, just look at community for Beartooth Pass-2009. Maybe that will work. Let me know if you have other options.
Yammer Dan Posted February 24, 2010 #10 Posted February 24, 2010 Thanks Don. Thought I was going to have to answer that one. Hard to handle them as busy as I am.
KiteSquid Posted February 24, 2010 #11 Posted February 24, 2010 There is no such thing as a "stupid question" I learned this by instructing for five years and by being a student for my entire life.
Yammer Dan Posted February 24, 2010 #12 Posted February 24, 2010 KiteSquid is right on this one. I couldn't have answered that question on my best day but if you don't ask you won't find out. I have asked questions that I know I knew the answer to but just couldn't pull it out of my vast store of knowledge at that minute.:snow2:
Aussie Annie Posted February 25, 2010 #13 Posted February 25, 2010 Thanks Don. Thought I was going to have to answer that one. Hard to handle them as busy as I am. :rotf::crackup::rotf:
BradT Posted February 25, 2010 #14 Posted February 25, 2010 he ain't no computer guru. RandyA You mean "No Guru" Hard to handle them as busy as I am. Watchin the snow fall. Brad
Yammer Dan Posted February 25, 2010 #15 Posted February 25, 2010 They say there are no two snowflakes alike. I'll let you know.....:snow2:
Bummer Posted February 25, 2010 #16 Posted February 25, 2010 .. Beartooth Pass-2009. ...Oooooooh. Beartooth Pass. I love that road! Nice pics! The Chief Joseph is nice too, but The Beartooth is the best. So far the best luck I've had with the Beartooth is in July. The high was maybe 54 at the top, but it didn't rain/sleet/snow.
