Owen Posted February 24, 2010 #30 Posted February 24, 2010 Okay! Looks like the trip is on for me. I will leave Friday morning. Do we have an address availabe? Is there a recommended hotel near by?
Scooter Bob Posted February 24, 2010 #31 Posted February 24, 2010 Okay! Looks like the trip is on for me. I will leave Friday morning. Do we have an address availabe? Is there a recommended hotel near by? Owen, He mentioned this one earlier "there is a hotel in town (Travlers Rest and Sportsman Inn)." I've never been there so I don't know if there are any others. Will have to wait for one of the locals to chime in for any more options. Everyone else down there, The sun popped out a little around 10 am, so I shoveled the driveway and started getting ready to leave. About 11, it started snowing and blowing and drifting across the roads, so I have scrapped leaving for today. I hope I can get out right away in the morning, as it has finally stopped snowing, and the sun is coming out again. Hopefully I can get in there later Saturday afternoon. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Stuck in Snowy Paradise, Scooter Bob, At least I have beer and a good woman here.

Ok here is the hotel info, The only one that I would half way recomend in town is Travlers rest PH#985-735-7772, rates are $58 for single and $63 for dbl. There are several Bed and Breakfast but the only Ph# I could find was for Cottage Guest House and the rate is $60 with a private bath, Ph# is 985-732-9559. We will also try to acomadte as many as we can at our house. Brad and Lonna's room is already reserved:whistling: There is another bed room and a camper that will sleep six.

Later, Scoooter Bob
Squidley Posted February 26, 2010 #50 Posted February 26, 2010 Chief, I was with Ponch today and I have 2 sets of rear pads for the G2, 1 is the HH sintered pads and the others are organic. Both sets are EBC's so we got you cover for a complete brake job if need be. We'll be there Saturday morning with Gunboat.
