They're not cheap, but they are killer quality. The flames on my 97 RS are painted in Prizmacoat, and change from Green-Blue-Purple.

The paints are pretty forgiving too, 'cause I'm no artist, and it came out purdy!

Check 'em out!

do we get to see pics of your scoot or what??

It's a cell phone pic, so you can't get a lot of detail from it. I'll get some more up asap, as soon as I put the headlight back on. :whistling:

Don't you always have to ride west for that to pick up a signal?

The flames look pretty good too. I'm not sure if the prizma stuff is working, though. I moved back and forth but it stayed the same color.

If reception gets weak, I just loosen the wingnut and turn it until I find the sweet spot...or fall off. Whichever happens first.

If you point your monitor at a mirror, then shine a flashlight overhead while wearing UV-enhancing goggles in a pitch black room, look at the mirror from a 32° downward angle while standing in a kiddie-pool full of jello (with mixed fruit in it) on a tuesday during a full lunar eclipse, with semi-crossed eyes... Then you'll see the color change in the picture.:stickpoke:

That's strange. I just swung my monitor back and forth and there was quite a bit of change.:cool10:

I knew there was something I wasn't doing right.

And on a more serious note, I'm looking forward to seeing some higher res pics of it when you get a chance. It's definitely worth a full spread in your Gallery.

Well, my new Shark Radio came in yesterday, so I spent the small window of time I had (Between wife, kids, dogs, dinner, etc) getting them mounted and connected... I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get some decent pictures up tonight! (Assuming the wife doesn't have me putting together that new bookshelf she just got...and the dogs don't run away...again.)

Awesome flame job.

BUT

That was a cruel cruel joke to post a link to the website for all of those wonderful paints.

But some of them are up to $100 / oz.

But I like them.

Dang, here we go again.:mo money::mo money::mo money:

Love the paints, but $39 bucks a can is a little beyond the pocket book... :mo money:

A wise man once told me, "The cheapest part of riding is buying the motorcycle."

Thanks for the advice, Dad.

On a side note, all of the flames on the bike were done with 1 can. It's less than a $100 flame job, all-inclusive... In my book, it was worth it, otherwise I would've just spent that $100 on something silly like a radio for the bike... (which I will finish installing today.):whistling:

I finally snapped a couple more pictures of the scoot, and posted them in the gallery... Pics really don't do the Prizmacoat justice...
