surgery update on Pastor Paul...

I wanted to let everyone know that Toni Knox called me about an hour and a half ago with news of Paul's surgery. He had just finished, after about 6 hours, and the doctors say that everything went well! Please post your prayers and well-wishes here in support of a full and speedy recovery. I know they will both appreciate it...

Glad to hear that and thanks for keeping us updated Terry. Now I hope this is the last surgery he has. I think he's had enough problems, so this should be it.

Praise God! You did well!! That will be a blessing tonight at our church. Sorry I won't be able to be at the M&E later but it sounds like you have plenty of care givers around to fill in for me.

I just had the most pleasant surprise...

 

I called to talk with Toni to see how Paul was doing, and Paul answered the phone! I did not expect that, at all! We had a great conversation and spoke for about ten minutes. He sounds very good and states that he is recovering well.

 

I wanted to check in to make sure he would be up for the visit we have planned this Saturday (http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=45585) and he informs me that he is really looking forward to having us over.

 

So, that's an update on Paul's status, and he and I both hope you can find a way to join the visit on the 27th.
